I'm gonna say this as someone who has no experience with learning another language, translating anything to correctly match the meaning of words rather than just a one to one translation, or knows the work it takes to do that...

Like I get it but also- you gotta care more- it's a lot of work no one doubts that at all- but at the very least fucking try a different language than English or Japanese dude. It took years to get the Japanese localization complete? Okay- do it again. Not saying it's easy I'm just saying that's what you have to do because everybody has the right for something to be accessible to them. You gotta figure something out besides saying "it's a lot of work." Yeah! We know! Put in the work!

#I learned about this like 5 minutes ago and immediately got mad #when you start learning about accesbilty (or lack thereof) of text heavy based media it makes you want to destroy shit #and the fact that people just see it as an after thought also makes me mad #it's a time commitment that deserves care but people don't care as long as it serves an able bodied (usually English) audience #BLEUGH #go my nothing
