Found some old concept art for “The Flying Fox”. I sketched this out during Christmas due to my lack of wi-fi.
Back then I didn't have the factory blueprints, nor interior pictures, so I figured I'd have to create my own instrument panel layout (bottom). I was also planning on replacing all the remote controlled turrets with manned ones and getting rid of all pressurization equipment, since I didn't know how any of that worked at the time. I did get some things wrong with the exterior, mainly areas of the nose, cockpit and the landing gear doors, but it was actually pretty close to the real thing (Just compare it to my recent profiles). The interior was way off though, as you'll be able to tell if you've read the story, seeing how the instrument panel's blocking the path to the nose.
There is another reason for me to post this here. Back then I was planning on using that paintscheme for the plane (Olive Drab over bare aluminum, like in most late B-26s, and just forgot to paint the original "The Flying Fox" poster to match (Yes, that drawing is that old, and back then the plane looked a lot more like this). While I will keep all the squadron markings and ZAAF insignia, I was planning on adding the olive drab, and that would actually be a plot point in the story (Though a fairly small one). I'd really like to know what you guys think about that. I’ve included 3 previews in this post. You can vote here, if you want: http://www.strawpoll.me/12864844
