As a person who has too many headcanons, I can even settle this one, very experimental and rubbish as usual, I will probably draw our characters and OCs some day:
1) PGP (where everyone lives)
They seeked for alliance with certain unaligned planets (let’s assuming Horizon and Lindor are already allies). There are rumours of how this planet politics works, but- Blake thought most of them are Federation propagandas, Avon is skeptical but not certain. Turns out the politicians on this planet is as horrible as the fascist Federation but in much different ways (but Federation did exaggerate about certain points)
About the planet: they had revolution in the past, they utilised their resources in the new way, they imposed their political views onto their citizens. The things that they are different from the federation is they despised corruption and class system outwardly. So bc of Avon’s skepticism, they questioned Avon’s background. Blake is pretty much dragged into this bc he was privileged, too.
I said this is PGP bc that is how this planet got time to built on a bit during the previous power vacuum. They also wanted the antidote themselves, hence the alliance. But fiasco happened bc of the previous incidents about backgrounds, our main characters were accidentally dragged into the political mess of this planets: there are extremists--- they despised outsider’s involvement and those who were born privileged, people are less extreme but still progressive, and people who inclined to join the Federations.
I really love the idea but the plots are so vague I couldn’t pull them straight.
2) time: Season 1/2 or even PGP
They seeked for alliance with certain unaligned planets, there is one planet that their shipping routes are blocked by Federation, Federation used its source in exchange for leadership (certain warlord/politician of the planet), supported them against guerrilla fighters. So Liberator crew or PGP characters inevitably laid themselves in this situation, and the worse thing is they are stuck in the jungle with the guerrilla (or a mountain, if it is like in my hometown).
While stuck in the jungle, there is two scenarios:
Season one/two: Blake trusted the other faction’s leader in this planet (who is against the fascist/official leader) but Avon wasn’t happy that they got stuck in this jungle, and federation enforcers nearly killed Blake in the process, pretty much anything tough and tension.
PGP: I automatically switched the scene to ‘federation enforcers nearly kill them’ part, the rest of the backstory could add on later. The person is injured is not Blake this time--- come on, Avon just shot him not long before lol. (So Avon is injured, contemplating the guilt)
