Just like that, the fight fades out of him. “Of course you aren’t.” Ward brushes the hair out of her face, achingly gentle as he reverently brushes a kiss to her forehead. “But that means you have to stop making rookie decisions based out of emotion and trust me to do my job.”
“I trust you.” Her voice is steady. He keeps his eyes on her until she sighs finally, laying her head against his chest. “I just don’t trust them.”

2. What is your favorite snippet of dialogue?I mean, I am not huge for dialogue. There is a lot more in my wip but all the best lines are the ones Daisy has helped me with so I can't take credit lol. So other than that I do like "We could play I Spy." from 'We Gotta Have it...' just because it is ridiculous and one of the first lines I thought of for the fic, and I just love the mental image that came with it for me, of Ward snarking in the pitch black and Skye glaring at him even though they can't see each other.
4. Do you prefer writing long or short fics?I am currently writing the longest thing I have ever written, and it is slowly driving me insane. On the other hand there is a really cool sense of accomplisment when I do a word count and realize that I have written 23k words so far. So in that way long fic is cool, on the other hand my shorter fics made me want to cry less.
6. What’s the detail you wait on bated breath for readers to notice?In general or in a particular fic? I guess just the little emotional notes and references to canon and their history that I try to fit in.
