Chris only shrugs. Sure, he could talk. He could spill out the thoughts threatening to crush his mind, tear him apart - but why bother? Worrying Sam isn’t how he wants to spend his day, much less relive the horror.

Today, he’d rather suffer in silence.

           “There’s… nothing to talk about.”

he’s a shitty liar, she thinks.  or maybe she’s still, after all that has been said & done, is over analyzing everything, trying to find reasoning where perhaps there is none to be found, still trying to find some form of method to the terribly excruciating puzzle of just one night that she desperately wishes she could forget.

but forgetting is like turning your back to a forest fire, you’re stuck on the sidelines convincing yourself you’re safe even when you feel the heat crawl against the back of your neck, as the flames spreads to consume & engulf all those foolish enough to stick around for the show.

she’s not looking for a show, but even she is far too aware of all the burn marks she’s developed trying to put it out in the past.

when you’re bonded through trauma, silent understanding is born.  however, when you stay quiet long enough, people will forget to listen when needed it most.  

maybe thats why she pushes, maybe she’s still looking to protect everyone- they all might have come out alive, but another part of them was left behind.  although sam’s not trying to walk around blindly, looking for something the fire already destroyed, she’s still trying to unearth who she can from the ashes.

RANDOM COMPLIMENTS! | ALWAYS ACCEPTING!

It’s funny because I’ve followed @b00mbutterflyeffect for almost a year over on her Joseph blog from TEW and barely knew her. We spoke a few times about random things and interacted even fewer times ( sobs ) and even though we never really talked I still admired her blog very much. It was always a joy to see on my dash because she plays a great Joseph and I love the depth she gave him because the game was lacking when it came to his character.

Then UD came around and I decided on a whim to make an Ashley blog and she messaged me expressing interest in making a Chris and that was that. Taylor became one of my online BFFs in like five seconds flat and I haven’t looked back. She’s great, seriously, we share a similar sense in humour, she makes me laugh and we scream about video games a lot or just random shit in general. She’s sweet, and just so talented at writing and capturing any character she picks up seems to come naturally to her, she’s welcoming and will lend a hand if she can. Taylor is A+, I love her tons and my dash would be pretty naked without her. bow chicka honk honk.

honestly, yes. granted cyd is not good with committed relationship, too scary and serious for her, and she would totally make him sad but i’m horrible & love sad things (i’m so sorry) and at the same time she would feel so good with him, they could do nothing but netflix&chill nights and she would be the happiest girl in the world. that said, i can totally see them having a great platonic relationship. he’s a great pillow no matter what after all 8)

a plot I’d like to see between our muses 

it’s kind of a serious idea (& a cyd in a really bad place) but idk if you would be down for it, i really need to message you about it (i’m just to shy to just throw ideas at ppl i don’t want to bother them). && cyd giving him climbing lessons, too 8))
