Honestly,,, ending the episode with a pregnancy reveal or even without that last "nope" would have been disappointing to me. Like yes I want jake and amy to be happy but they didnt write the implication that it only happened because they "understood how important it was" or "loved each other enough" like. B99 is always doing good things but I think the message that two people can be their own family is so fucking important and never represented and is so much better than anything else this ep could have become.

Also they kissed a lot so that was nice

thoughts on b99 7x06 "trying"

i never really thought about how exhausting it must be to try to have a baby. i really appreciate this show for showing us the reality of how stressful, annoying, tiresome it can be when you're trying; that it's not just like you get to have sex a bunch. b99 really out here showing how life really be.

also rosa & charles' experience with the guinea pigs was funny too.
