“Perhaps,” she says nonchalantly, as if commenting on the weather. For a moment, it seems as though she cares little for his cause. But then, she sets her gaze upon him, eyes sharp and a fierce green;

"You’ll never earn that right, though. You know why?"

she storms up to him and grasps his arm firmly, mouth set in a determined line,

"Because no matter what, Naruto and I won’t let that happen."

With that, her hand falls away from his arm, and Sakura’s expression softens, as her palm rises to gently caress his own——her precious person makes her heart swell with affection. A promise spills out of her lips, sounding naive and childish, but brimming with conviction and feeling all the same, veins pumping with loyalty and unbridled emotion.

"I won’t let you die…I swear it.”

I feel like Mrs S would be the type to make a cup of tea if you turned up on her doorstep but there's also that overwhelming fear that she would kill me.
