pride 2017 this pride has been the first pride when i have known my sexuality for sure and when i have been an admin on an account. this pride has also marked one year since the pulse nightclub shooting which has proved that even one of the worst hate crimes in america couldn’t stop us from being proud or hopeful and in some way has made all of us even more stronger and supporting. it’s been two years since the centre of western civilisation, america, has allowed all 50 states to have basic human rights; to get married to the one they love regardless of gender and even though their current president didn’t officially announce pride month, it hasn’t stopped the lgbtq+ community all around the globe from celebrating. this month we have celebrated the stonewall riots, the very reason pride exists, a hate crime that made us stronger than ever, the legalisation of same-sex marriage, babadook and all of our sexuality and gender identities, regardless of whether or not you’re out or not. i hope everyone who went to a parade had the time of their life.
anyone who feels an outcast where they are or are unaccepted please know that here you will be accepted with open arms and there will be a time when you can comfortably be wholly you.
stay proud and never, ever be ashamed of who you are throughout the rest this year and all time ❤️💛💚💙💜🏳️🌈 (also today germany has legalised same-sex marriage and adoption so go you guys! 🇩🇪🎉🏳️🌈)

Never has an internet pop culture phenomenon been so relevant to my interests. Meet my personal rendition of the Babadook, the queer icon I both needed and deserved.
y'all need to STOP omfg
The Babadook used to fear his own identity and channel it into scaring children. However, once Monster's inc discovered the power of laughter, he was free to embrace his true self and become the goofy guy we all know and love.
