prompt: Andy is trying to bake, but is suddenly interrupted by a very infuriating ghost

Autumn was a very busy season for the farm, but on this day, Andy found himself finishing his work early.

What better way to spend his hard-earned free time than to prepare for the next day!

He had planned a picnic with his friends (derogatory), and wanted to bake something for everyone to enjoy.

With a hum, he went straight to his kitchen, already knowing what he would make.

Cinnamon buns!

Good thing that Margret had allowed him to borrow her baking book, because Andy could Not remember a recipe for the life of him.

After finding the right page, he quickly gathered all the ingredients for the dough.

He started right away, but oh… halfway trough beating the dough, he noticed that he was missing a key ingredient!

The cinnamon!

He looked around frantically, mumbling to himself… "where is it? I was convinced it was around here somewhere…"

. . .

"Whatcha doing?"

Andy flinched and turned to the door… letting out a groan after seeing who it was.

"Mr. Eastwood! You about gave me a heart attack!"

The spirit of Thomas was leaning against the door, with a cocky smile "You wouldn't be the first ghost in this house."

Andy huffed, resuming his search.

"I'm trying to bake…"

Thomas lingered at the door, watching him… before slowly floating to one of the upper shelves and pulling out a cinnamon container.

"Looking for this?"

"Yeah!"

Andy quickly coughed, to cover up the excited tone.

"Yeah, uh... thanks."

Thomas landed next to him, sprinkling some cinnamon dust on Andy's head.

"Here, have a sprinkle of happiness for your grumpiness."

"Hey! No!"

Andy quickly grabbed the container, brushing off the dust, while the spirit couldn't hold back his laughter.

The apple turned away to measure the cinnamon with a pout, grumbling...

"Mr. Eastwood, you're an idiot."

"Love ya too, buddy"

Thomas chuckled once more, before leaving Andy to it… who was hiding a little smile.

Peter would lay on his back, his hands behind his head, just having his eyes closed and enjoying the outside

Andy would sit next to him, babbling on and on about random topics, while Peter listens with one ear

Andy mostly would ramble about his work on the farm, what he got done that day and what he plans to do next

but he'd also share stories about Thomas; like when Andy tried a new recipe, and how it turned into a disaster bc a certain someone Wouldn't Stop Bugging Him

Peter would stay quiet for the most part, just enjoying his voice, but occasionally he'd chime in to trash talk Thomas

periodically, Andy would grab a snack (like a chocolate bar) to share with Peter, while also making sure they're both drinking enough

it'd be a chilled back and relaxing time, just enjoying the sun, the light breeze, and the company of the other
