Voor het slapengaan lagen we nog uren te praten. Babbelen in bed is zo gezellig, het schept meteen een band. Je ligt comfortabel onder een dekentje. Je kijkt elkaar niet aan en je gedachten gaan alle richtingen uit. Je hoort elkaars ademhaling, verder is het stil. Je voelt de nacht en de rust om je heen. Ook buiten hoor je niks meer, behalve misschien een uil in de verte. Dat maakt die gesprekken in bed vaak zo verrassend en openhartig. het is ook een beetje spannend altijd: wie zal het eerst in slaap vallen, wie stopt het eerst met praten?
