Breakfast for dinner tonight and some Fresh Squeezed IPA from Deschutes to go with it...perfect combo. I will be substituting this IPA for actual juice from now on, it is decided! Cheerrs!

Honeysuckle Rose Belgian Blonde Ale from Blue Earl Brewing in Delaware! This came in my summer beer exchange case and I immediately loved the artwork and the promises of a lightly sweet honeysuckle and floral extravagant rose, but found it to be just an overall decent blonde. Though I enjoyed the hefty 7.2% Belgian delight I would have loved to have experienced more of that rich rose. Definitely want to keep my eye out for more of Blue Earl Brewing. Cheers!
Babeofbrew has been busy busy, between full time at the brewery, getting my butt in gear with the Siebel program, and trying to have a little summer fun I fear I've neglected my duties. But fear not for Summer in its sweet, sweaty, sunny glory has brought the summer beer exchange giving me plenty to report on!! Cheers!

Flying Fish Farmhouse is almost heeere! Look at those gorgeous cans:)
Finally got the chance to get out and visit the crew at Double Nickel and salivate over their delectable brews. It was a fairly slow Tuesday in the tasting room but Greg made me feel right at home and offered a plethora of snacky snacks to boot. I started out with the session IPA which was excellent and super crushy, then onto the Mother Leeds brown ale "witch" again was awesome and I couldn't leave without trying the Marbled Buffalo, their strong rye aged in Buffalo Trace barrrels..yes it tastes even better then it sounds and only available for a short time!! The tasting room itself is spacious yet cozy and would be killer for a party although the location can be tricky to navigate, I drove right past it and had to circle back.
Babeofbrew needed a touch of warmth and magic on this rainy day and Firestone Walker stepped right up with the potion to cures my ails. Pouring an onyx black and tan collar, Velvet Merlin is a smooth and deliciously approachable Oatmeal Stout, richly robust with an espresso bite, cocoa sweetness that finishes dry...there is definitely sorcery afoot!
