Part 2~
BB hummed as she shampooed Ace's hair and wiped some shampoo from his forehead.
"Mama?"
"Yes?"
"Can I wash your hair?"
"I'm sorry sweetie, but you're small, and if you needed to, I can lean down, but I'll take up a lot of room, and that won't be any good."
"Aww." he stuck his lower lip out and stuck his chin on the bath rim.
"Pouting isn't good in a situation like this, you know. And please sit up now, I must rinse your hair."
He frowned but sat up anyway, and BB shielded the soap and water from his eyes as she rinsed his hair and hummed.
"Can I wash your back instead?"
"Yes, that's okay honey." BB twisted her hair to the side and hummed.
Ace took a sponge, grabbed a bottle of soap, and opened the bottle and poured a large amount onto the sponge, and began to scrub BB's back.
"Hmmm~ hmm, hmmm~ hm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm~" BB hummed as she cupped some water in her hands and let it run through her fingers.
"I know you~ that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam~" Ace sang out loud and grinned.
BB glanced at him, then smiled back. "And I know~ it's true, that visions are seldom what they seem~"
"But if I know you~ I know what you'll do~ you'll love me at once~ the way you did once upon a dream~" the two of them sang together.
They looked at each other, then laughed.
"Now let me do you, Baby." she took a rag and began to scrub his back.
"Mama, Mama, let's go the park today."
"Okay."
"Then let's put on a play."
"A play? Of what?"
"Of whatever!" he giggled and popped a bubble in the water.
"Plays take planning. And I need drop some things off for Elliot soon enough." she took the pitcher and rinsed his back.
"Awww." he pouted and went "hmph!"
"You pay too much attention t' the others, if you ask me. They always cling to you and' ask ya to play and stay with them."
So do you, you selfish little rascal. she rolled her eyes at his statement and pinched his cheeks.
"I love you very much, and you'll always be my baby, but there's others who also want my attention, okay? Just remember I'll always be there for you, baby." she picked him up as she stood up and nuzzle his nose with hers.
".....Yeah!" he laughed and nuzzled right back.
She grabbed a towel and wrapped it around Ace, and then took another and wrapped it around herself.
"Clean, clean, clean~"
"Yes, clean baby." she kissed him on the nose and smiled.
