Baby Wes: *cries*
Eugene, unsure how to calm him down: don’t worry, when you get older, you’ll learn to do that on the inside.
Ned: are you.. are you okay?

Story time from Wesley
So not dog related, but @doberbutts were on the topic of people talking in their sleep and how freaky it is. I commented that his sleep talking wasn’t NEARLY as frightening as my ex-fiancé’s and I figured I would share the story with you folks. Before I begin though, you must have seen the Berries and Cream Starburst commercial, because this story happened at the same time this commercial was airing (dating myself here): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYX_zhlTDr8
Watched the video? Got that image in your head? Good.
It was summer when I was at uni with my fiancé when this commercial was frequently on television. My fiancé (we’ll call him M) was OBSESSED with the commercial, sang it frequently, and generally thought it was the funniest thing on the planet. We were roommates and stayed in our dorm over the summer while we both worked. I was a computer repair tech and worked part time in the afternoon, M worked at an archaeological dig site an hour away. He frequently left before I woke up and came home exhausted; we would have dinner at the dining hall or snack bar and I’d stay up with him and we’d watch tv or whatever until he fell asleep.
Now, these dorms were pretty damn tiny. We had pushed the twin beds together to make a double, but really, we had the bed and each of our desks and that was it other than two closets. So I would get up and play EverQuest at my desk with my headset on and all the lights out so M could sleep in peace.
I was playing this particular night and responding via guild chat to my friends who were in TeamSpeak (I didn’t want to talk and wake M up). M had a habit of talking in his sleep when he was exhausted; usually it was just nonsense grumblings with the occasional word here and there but it was quiet and cute. This night he had barely eaten dinner and passed out very shortly after he had gotten home and was VERY vocal at around 2-3am.
I was starting to get concerned as M sounded genuinely DISTRESSED. He was tossing and turning and speaking gibberish at increasing volume (did I mention our campus was one of the most haunted in the northeast? Yeah. These things don’t occur to you until your fiancé is mimicking the fucking exorcist at 3am). I took off my headphones and unplugged them and pushed my push-to-talk key so my guildmates (one of whom lived two doors down in the same dorm) could hear the demonic sounds coming from my normally mild fiancé. It was at that point that the sleep talking became clear and at the end of a loud stream of gibberish we heard: “MMMM BERRIES AND CREAM YES.”
And then there was silence.
M never actually talked in his sleep after that. I mock him to this day as it was simultaneously the funniest and most frightening thing that’s ever happened to me.
You're making me feel cheap, ace.

** wesley as a baby , with soft and sensitive scales. growing up ( just imagine him without the hair because he doesn’t have any )
Baby Wes just needs to be given to a whole new family. That whole family and friend group is a mess.
Also, why are the writers messing with us saying, "Wes will come home. Baby Wes." Y'all ready to throw hands?!
most prematured death tbh I think there was a lot left in store for him it wasnt the right time and poor kid he had such a complicated life he deserved better
