Also considering that Sun’s eyes are white when they’re supposed to be blue, it’d be reasonable for the human au Sun to have some pretty bad cataracts or eye infection. While Sun doesn’t show signs of vision problems it’d still suck.
It goes from the plex neglecting his maintenance to the plex disallowing him to get help for a vision problem.

Technically, they're supposed to be orange (which I think would translate to like, hazel-brownish in a human AU, though blue is a very popular substitution). But also a very good HC. Poor baby cannot see nearly as well as he lets on.
He has absolutely tripped over his own feet, toys left out, and run into things multiple times only to play it off as Totally on Purpose. It's only once you see him mask-off/up-close that you realize just how bad it really is.
