Day 3 with the betta. He usually still floats at the top of the tank so I keep the filter off for most of the day. We did have a set back with the medicine I bought to treat his fin rot, I think it gave him burns (possibly what the redness on the top of the head is). I put in an order for some aquarium salt for a natural cure. Tiny Tim has a proper fish face! It looks like he'll be a crown tail, too~ I'll be honest; I thought I was just giving him a loving place to die. He's almost doubled in size! . Tiny Tim's story: he was shipped to my PetCo WAY too young (probably 5 weeks; barely air-breathing age), and the usual feeding schedule of 3x a week was just not enough for this tiny child. He was thin and miserable and I thought he wasn't gonna make it. I said screw it; I might as well give him a chance. I'm so glad I did.
