Hi everyone! I don’t often share things like this from my personal life but this is so important. Two of my wonderful friends have been away from home for over two months, staying with their newborn baby boy, Grayson in the hospital. He was born just shortly after our Kraang Twins and we already love him like a nephew.

Sadly, Grayson was born with CDH and has already undergone two major surgeries in his first couple weeks of life. You can read more about him by following the link above, but basically the costs of a long-term hospital stay plus his parents living two states away from their home and jobs has taken quite a toll financially.

Ashley and Garret are some of my favorite people in this world and I can’t wait for them to bring home their little superhero. If you are able, please consider donating to help them out.

Steph stepped into the kitchen eyes widening as she took in the scene before her. The kitchen was covered in flour, and so was Val.

“Val…” She sighed.

Looking at Val, she was reminded of herself at that age, when she had done the exact same thing, trying to make her mom breakfast for Mother’s Day. She wondered, if she had kept her daughter would she… No. Now is not the time. Steph swallowed harshly and walked towards the sink.

“We have to clean up the mess.”

Valeria grinned sheepishly at Steph as she stepped into the kitchen. She glanced at the flour all over the counter and then at the flour on her shirt. “Oops?” she offered in reply instead.

She pouted as her aunt walked over to the sink, and she put down the mixing bowl. “But I’m not done with the waffles yet!”
