We're very glad you're liking our comic, we do hope the rest of the pages we published in the meanwhile (fashionably late in replying, sorry!) were as satisfactory as the one you mentioned... And that we shocked you quite a bit!

As per previous reply: our possibilities are very limited at the moment dued to stupid italian legislations regardin e-commerces which just makes us want to put pineapple on pizza as retaliation.

BUT, we do came out with an alternative solution... Which we'll disclose SOON. uwu

Sorry if I'm so late in replying, it's been quite the winter and this particular topic was very delicate and anxious-inducing to me...

Anyway, to reply to your question: dued to stupid Italian taxations and changed legislations dued to brexit, we were forced to close the shop, unfortunately. Hence your not being able to access it.

We were so sorry, but with the current situation it wouldn't be sustainable for us to keep it open.

Thank you, A LOT, to everyone who sustained us while it lasted, we'll keep you updated if the situation will change in the future regarding online shops of course.

As for reading the whole comics go, we have come with a solution, which you'll all know very very soon, tho... So, stay tuned!

Unrelated but it's funny to think Mr. Darcy could be responsible for Dracula daily emails.

LOL it really looks like something he'd do in a heartbeat! (probably to piss off the real vampires he knows and... Well, appreciates on alternate days.)

Or, he would appreciate A LOT, and be extremely annoying about it, commenting everything all the time.

(This is related to Arja's other comic Till Queendom Come which you can read here, featuring a Jotunn who stayed in England after the IX century Viking invasions and became way too committed with books and literature. Yes, Darcy is an alias and it's a reference.)

Secondly, I have a question: who is Orestes referring to as 'Asterion' on today's page? Is it an epithet of Apollo (being 'starry') or is it a nickname of Dyonisos? I don't think I get the reference.

Orestes is referring to Dionysos, Asterion is not any epithet of neither him nor Apollo... But it was the name of someone else in mythology.

As for why he's calling him like that...

(but you're all free to guess why. It's a free interpretation of ours of a myth you most likely know)

I watched Midsommar quite recently too. I really liked it (and as a Swede I found it quite entertaining at times). But it got two minus from me. One for not being filmed in Sweden, and two for never playing the Hårga song. ^^

I did recently as well and really regretted not having watched it in a proper cinema. I am really not a fan of horror as a genre (I either laugh at horror movies or fall asleep. Best nap of my life was in front of The Conjuring.), but this was so well written and constructed that I was really committed and into the story. I loved it and it fitted the mood of Chapter 5 a little too well not to reference it in this promo. :P I’m really glad you and people are liking it!

I’m glad to know that it’s good even for Swede people! As an Italian I couldn’t tell any more than recognising Runes and knowing what they’re meant for from former studies. The visuals tho were stunning.

A pity they didn’t film it in Sweden for real, that’s true. I hope the locations are at least somehow similar to some real areas there! And thanks for nominating the Hårga song, I’m running to hear it, I’m curious! :D

Is he Zagreo? 🤔

Do you mean Zagreo as in Hades game? Or the Mythological Zagreus, son of Persephone and Zeus? In both cases no, he's Dylan, the elder brother of our main character, a little dressed up to appear as the cover of our next ebook installment. And in our comic, we stan for the version of the myth which says that Zagreus, son of Persephone and Zeus, was actually the first incarnation of Dionysos. Before Persephone looked away from him five minutes and he was cooked and eaten and had to be grown all over again. Just like Hecate. 🤔

We're totally not saying that she may know Hecate. As we're totally not at all implying that she isn't, but has some connection to a wider world. Far from us to let out some preposterous rumours like this, that would be very improper of us. We ARE saying that her shop is named Sunny Corner, she has a luscious herb garden in the backyard, she's really a morning person and a little metereopathic, and that her favourite dish is pork souvlaki.

There's plenty of hints around the story, so maybe we're just defending a secret that's not really a secret anymore...?

Can you smell the oh so sweet perfume of Hybris in the air? Can you? :D

Then again, if you ask Dionysos who gave her his thyrsus-of-approval he wouldn’t have suggested insults and hybris as a leverage to make Apollo raise his handsome, perfect rear from his throne. At least, not as a first option.
