It was pouring rain down in Pelican town. Y/N was walking in the forest, searching for berries in the forest. He held an umbrella in his hand, picking up grapes he found.

He stopped what he was doing when he saw Shane on the ground, beer bottles around him. Y/N sighed, putting the basket with berries down, and walking over to Shane.

"Ey, Shane, wake up!" Y/N said. Shane mumbled. Y/N groaned, picking him up. "Your lucky I found you, your fucking freezing." Y/N sighed. Shane yawned, "Just leave me to die." he said.

"No, I'm bringing you to my place to let you rest," Y/N responded, annoyed at his response

Shane closed his eyes, ending up accepting what will happen, "Fine, whatever.." Shane said, dozing off.

** Timeskip. **

Y/N opened the door to his house, dragging Shane to the couch.

He placed Shane onto the couch, turning on the fireplace. "Need anything?" Y/N asked, handing Shane a blanket.

"Death," Shane said. Y/N threw a pillow at him. "Wrong answer, I'll go cook you some food,"

Shane stared at him, angry that he threw the pillow, "I didn't know it was a fucking quiz!" Shane said.

Y/N started cooking up pepper poppers. He placed it on a plate after finishing it up, heading to Shane to hand it over. "Here you go!" Y/N said.

Shane grabbed the fork, taking a bite out of the food. "I don't understand why you're helping me, you really don't need to," Shane said, food in his mouth.

"First of all, don't speak with your mouth full, and second of all, I'm not sure, I just feel like I have to," Y/N said, smiling at Shane.

Shane nodded, yawning again. "I'll get you some milk, it's newly milked!" Y/N said, joking a bit. Shane chuckled, grinning.

"I love you, Y/N," Shane said, not thinking Y/N was listening. Y/N smiled, "Love you too, drunk," Y/N responded.

Shane stared at him, blushing, "I- I was joking.." Shane said.

Y/N nodded, "Alright, in that case, I was also joking!" Y/N said back, laughing.

Shane sighed, laughing a little too. "Why do you even love me back?" He asked. Y/N walked over to him with a cup of milk, "I don't know, love is fucked up, I just know I like you," Y/N said.

Shane smiled, drinking the milk. "Alright, we should head to sleep, need anything else before bed?" Y/N asked, Shane shook his head, "I think I'll be alright," He said.

"Okay, well I'll be in my bedroom, goodnight Shane," Y/N said.

"Hey, Y/N-" Shane mumbled, Y/N looked at him, "Yeah?"

"I love you.." "I love you too, Shane,"
