[STRANGE] Loose Tiger in Bachjret Ward Befriends Blind Salarian
via Entropy News A disaster was averted today on Bachjret ward, as an escaped large Earth predator was recovered from most unlikely place - lap of a blind ward resident Iasset Dravas. The situation began at grounds of Primarch Xarkian University located on the ward, where a large earth feline predator known as a tiger was being transported. The tiger was supposed to have been sedated and secured properly, but university students handling the predator apparently had administered insufficient dosage of tranquilizers. As a result of that, the tiger recovered consciousness as it was being moved and escaped containment. Track of the runaway predator was lost in the ensuing chaos and wait for C-Sec to arrive. The dangerous predator was feared to have been lost, had it not been for a call from Iasset Dravas, local ward resident who had located the escaped tiger - into his own apartment. “I’d heard more than usual commotion coming from outside, so I had a hunch something odd was up. Then I heard a loud thump of something landing in my living room, and then there was this low rumble, like an old combustion engine, and something headbutting me clumsily.” Iasset Dravas described his encounter with the tiger. “I’ve seen and felt a fair share of household pets in my time. I knew at once that this tiger was no such thing. I thought it was some human stunt gone awry. You know, it wasn’t always that animals this big were allowed on the Citadel, but here there was one in my home - and from sounds of it, bumping into my furniture with reckless abandon. I figured it was best to take a seat and call Citadel security to get their runaway back, before the tiger would make me trip. Once I’d done that, it laid down at my feet and seemed fairly content to be there. It even fell asleep!” According to Primarch Xarkian University, Earth tigers are carnivorous predators that can grow as large as varrens, and are averse crowds. However, it seems the circumstances of being partially sedate and caught well outside its natural habitat had kept this tiger from aggression.
