These buildings on a back lane in Fleetwood are not part of their main houses. When I was a boy, I used to visit my grandparents, who had an outside toilet and a communal washhouse. These are not communal, so I don't know what their original purpose was.

'Artist's impression'. The nearby Glebe Island Bridge (1995), an eight-lane 2,641 ft cable-stayed bridge across Blackwattle Bay replacing one built in 1903, which is still there, but unused. Renamed the ANZAC Bridge in 1998. Camperdown.
