My friend Kristine took this picture a couple weeks ago--she wanted to show me how #boss my ass and thighs looked. Of course, I'm The Worst, so all I could see was my double chin and the thickness in my middle, a memento of my twin pregnancy. But personal growth: I was aware, mid-thought, that I was being a doofus about it, and I tossed that negativity in the air like a skeet and blew it away. And today those glutes and quads squatted 210 lbs, a 5-lb PR.
