The chandelure's name is Freight! I saw it a couple times and I think it's cute and clever.
Because Chandelure can "consume" souls, it's only fair that they can see them and recognize their trainer's soul! So that's what's happening. Seems like this is pushing Ingo to make the right conclusions!
