my fionna and cake season two finale predictions: huntress wizard comes back after a lifechanging adventure she nearly dies trying to find a cure and she comes back and some 18 year old with an eyebrow piercing is just like ohh well i cast Healing Spell on him. what. was that weird.

the silent foreboding of dream warrior plucking her out of her fantasy right after 10 seasons of it all destroying finn is so lovely. like someone has to be the hero(the one who has terrible things happen to them)(the one who witnesses it all)(the one who can't handle it)

but her association with both HEROISM and MAGIC is a really nice niche. finn has a little bit of both, but he never leans into magic. his mom had some sway into magic (see together again) (margaret. not minerva) and he respects magic on a level that the enchiridion implies heroes generally DON'T. he's dabbled in it before but it never stuck

but ASTRID. has a WIZARD MENTOR.

do you think hes the only one with a weird relationship to time and space. like in Betty when simon gets demagicked and the grand master wizard is just completely unfazed about this normal human man standing there in wizard city. how many other wizards are wearing a complex glamour or are cursed back into their childhood bodies.
