Oh now this one I have some instantaneous ready responses to:

1. Why the fuck is he only wearing one shoe??? (that was the immediate reaction)

(which almost immediately shifted to) 2. I reallyyyyyy want to see his feet and this is the third example where it’s gotten as close as socks SO SO SO CLOSE but that’s it and meanwhile there are not one but two pictures with Flans barefoot and WHY IS THE ENTIRE WORLD SO COLOSSALLY UNFAIR? BRB crying forever.

3. Isn’t wearing red pants to a TMBG show considered a faux pas in the same category as wearing white to a wedding?

4. I continue to be disappointed that even as someone who says he would like to win The Most Interestingly Mismatched Socks Poll all he ever actually wears are booooooring black or navy blue ones

TMBG West Coast adventure!

Guess who just followed TMBG up the entire West Coast? THIS GIRL. GOD y’all it was SO INTENSE. I’ve done plenty of show trips before, but this was the most shows in a row I’ve ever done--it was seven shows in eight days, and the most I’ve ever done before is four in five. It was AMAZING of course, just yeh REALLY INTENSE.

I’m still working on my show reviews, and I still need to type up my ones from the previous four shows before this--working on it! I also need to sort through my pictures so I can post those. They still have the terrible lighting setup, but I did what I could with getting good ones.

I got a setlist in Eugene, and a signed drumhead from Marty in Portland. I haven’t gotten a setlist in FIFTEEN FUCKING YEARS, and I’ve never gotten a drumhead before, so both of those were very cool! I also got a poster in Eugene which has that new promo picture of them with all the microphones, and I think John is SUPERHOT in that picture, so it will go on my wall for swooning purposes.

I was feeling really upset about John’s stupid hair at the first show, but I calmed down about it pretty well after that. He was still soooooooooooooooo hot to me even with that.

They didn’t very the setlists as much as I would’ve liked, but they were playing some GOOD SHIT, so it was exciting to see some of the songs as many times as I did. Still though I was hoping to see more different songs.

I got to see Flans taking these two pictures of John, the first of which is silly and adorable and the second of which is HOT:
