Becca Backlight Priming Filter
I’m a sucker for trying new primers. They all have different claims and features and ways that they’re supposed to make your makeup look this or that way. Suuuureee... But I try them anyway. I think this one claims to be a strobing primer. As in, it works like a highlighter to add a glow to your face. Please see the swatches above. Yep, it’s shiny and glowy alright! (On the left, I applied a thick layer. On the right, I blended it out.) I usually use more of a matte foundation, so by the time I have the foundation applied over this, it’s nowhere near as bright and shiny as these swatches.
The bottom line: yeah, it’s a pretty cool product. Does it make my makeup last any better/longer? Nah, but I’m not sure it claims to.
