The Falseroom
This is the basics of it Its a backroom level called the "Falserooms". The Falserooms is a Backrooms level consisting of an endless realm of randomly generated rooms. Each room is assigned a number, and the sequence of rooms is different for every person who enters this level. The environment can change around you in the blink of an eye. Sometimes you will enter a room through a door, close that door, and then open it again only to find that the space behind it has completely changed. Every room is unique, but all share a few common elements. Each room has either bright blue or bright pink wallpaper. There is always some piece of furniture with black burnt writing that reads "Room [number]". Some rooms contain glitches or failed generations. These can appear as random square holes in the floor or walls that go down endlessly, or blocky chunks of material sticking out of a surface. Uncommonly, you may also encounter tight corridors like mazes that you must roam through to reach the next room.
To escape the Falserooms, you must reach the 500th room. This room always contains a fire exit that can take you to Level 0, Level TBD, and Level TBD. However, getting to the 500th room means passing through 499 rooms in correct chronological order from room number 1 up to room number 500. The difficulty is that some doors may lead back to an earlier room you have already visited. You must keep finding the correct door that advances the number sequence. Only by maintaining the proper numerical order can you finally reach the 500th room and escape. I have not decided if I am going to put any entities in this level. I like to expand on this more so help me with making more ideas and concepts :D
Some concept ideas for it
I have some ideas for rare rooms in the falseroom, each with its own theme, like a fun room. I am also thinking of very distorted rooms along these lines. Think of some of the regular rooms but they are like this
My insperation Backrooms - Level "Exit" by Ruster. Their animation gave me the inspiration for this level.
And Spooky house of jumpscare. Hence the 500th room thing.
Join the Backroom Wiki Tumblr!
Think of this as an independent community for writers and creators to share their own wiki levels, entities and lore. The wiki fandom and wi
backrooms was phenomenal and the hate is a sign that audiences have literally no attention span for a slow burn movie with depth anymore
Clark n Clark playing hide and seek
Welcome to Backroom Wiki Tumblr. This is a community for fans, writers, artists, and weirdos who are completely obsessed with the Backrooms.
We got fed up with how restrictive and messy the Fandom Wiki was getting, so we made this place as a chill, independent corner on Tumblr. A spot where people can actually talk about the lore, share their own levels, entities, objects, stories, and creepy art without it turning into a complete clusterfuck. Original stuff is 100% encouraged. https://www.tumblr.com/join/Vqq3Eovy
Community Rules
1. Donāt be a dick
Donāt be a dick. Disagree all you want, but no personal attacks, harassment, or starting drama for the sake of it.
2. Keep Discussions Civil
Argue about lore, not each other. Constructive criticism is cool. Being a hater isnāt.
3. Original Content is Encouraged
Feel free to share your own levels, entities, stories, artwork, theories, and projects. Give credit when using or adapting someone else's work.
4. No Gatekeeping
Everyone has their own version of the Backrooms. Some like the classic liminal hell, others like the more story-heavy stuff. Thatās fine. Donāt shit on people for enjoying different flavors.
5. No Spam or Self-Promotion Abuse
Sharing your project is okay, but donāt flood the place with the same post ten times.
6. Follow Tumblr's Terms of Service
Donāt post anything thatāll get the whole community in trouble.
7. We mod behavior, not ideas.
Weāre not gonna delete your level just because it doesnāt match ācanon.ā We only care if youāre being toxic or breaking the above.
8. Have Fun and Create
The goal of this community is to explore the Backrooms, share ideas, and build a welcoming environment for fans and creators.
So I already talked about the brainless hate the Backrooms movie is getting. Since then I have been actively fighting with some of these people in the comments, and honestly the stupidity is so profound it deserves its own post. Let me walk you through the cast of characters.
First, there is the guy who made hating this movie his full time job.
He started off flooding the comment section calling the movie dogwater and horrible, telling anyone who liked it that they have weird and bad taste, and loudly declaring he was "tryna save people" from this supposedly terrible film. He was not leaving a review. He was running a one man smear campaign trying to sway people from seeing the movie. But the second he got called out, he immediately switched to "it's not that deep, why are you sending essays LOL." You cannot spend hours preaching that a movie is dogwater and you are saving people, then pretend you are too casual to care the moment someone pushes back. That is not being chill. That is retreating because you have no actual argument.
He also kept mocking the length of my replies like that was a win. As if being able to write more than three sentences without drowning in emojis is something to be embarrassed about. Sorry I can articulate a point. Not my fault your attention span caps out at a TikTok caption.
Then there is the self-appointed comment section police.
This person slid into my replies to tell me to stop saying the movie is great and let people have their own opinions. Meanwhile the guy actively insulting everyone for liking the film got zero lectures from them. They had no problem with harassment. They only had a problem with someone defending the movie. That is not neutrality. That is being annoyed that someone fought back and dressing it up as fairness.
When I pointed this out, their response was "having essays isn't quite demure either sorry." That is it. That was their rebuttal. A TikTok buzzword and an apology. They went from lecturing about opinions to a one-liner about essay length because they had nothing left. The mask slipped fast.
Then there is the guy who cannot stop bringing up Andrew Tate.
He started by complaining that A24 is targeting teenagers now because of internet horror, which already makes no sense if you actually watch the film and see the themes about grief and how the past haunts adulthood. When someone challenged him, he pivoted to "I am not into your minecraft fortnight culture" and then started accusing people of being afraid of Andrew Tate and Myron Gaines. Multiple times. Unprompted. Nobody mentioned those men. Nobody was being aggressive. He just has exactly one move and it is diagnosing strangers with alpha male trauma instead of defending a single thing he said about the actual movie.
It is genuinely bizarre. Like watching someone derail their own argument in real time because they cannot stop repeating the same unrelated insult.
And of course there are the media illiteracy classics.
Multiple people complained there is no monster and no plot, as if horror has to be a nonstop chase scene. They insisted it should have been based on the "video game" as if the Backrooms started as a game and not a creepypasta that Kane Pixels already adapted into a slow, atmospheric series years ago. Another claimed a therapist investigating a vanished patient is a plot hole because in real life therapists do not do that, as if horror movies are documentaries about workplace protocol.
The pattern is always the same.
They come in loud and insulting. When you push back with actual points they either mock the length of your reply, accuse you of caring too much, or pivot to random unrelated jabs. None of them can actually defend their criticism. It is not about the movie. It is about performative hate and being angry the film was not the monster mash they invented in their heads. The moment you make them explain themselves, they fold.

Below here is to prove that this guy doomscroll every comments to force hate on the movie. Yes its ironic since i am doing the same thing to find these but I need to prove that I am not making it up that this guy actively seek to hate and try the ruin the movie reputation to make people not watch it. Very shitty and loser behavior.
The hate for the Backrooms movie is the most braindead, media illiterate thing ever seen. The film is great and yet people keep whining about there being no monster, no plot, calling it garbage, and telling anyone who liked it that they have bad taste and throw tantrums about it.
I just spent time fighting two bozos who keep seething in the replies, preaching that the movie is slop and that it should have been based on the "video game" as if the Backrooms concept started out as a game.
They completely ignore that Kane Pixels' Backrooms series was always like this, acting as if those videos never existed. Then they try to compare it to something like "Obsession," which is an entirely unrelated subgenre. It is exhausting.
