Someone needs to get into a toxic situationship with him when he's in college and then he does something crazy to drive them away and he gets big and famous and goes looking for them now that he has all this sway and he gloats and lords his newfound social sway over them like a deranged person while he's still at the top of the food chain.

So it must've been like. A big electronics store. Right. The mysterious academy Tenna and insert were both in. Before he fucked them over exponentially. In the backstabber au. Yes I knew that television from my time spent at the BEST BUY school of education. I think [xinsert] is a camcorder. They were first sold in the 80s, so... Anyway. I think Camcorder reader was nearly sold to the dreemurrs before they settled on buying Tenna instead, and some other family in hometown bought the camcorder. Asriel ended up buying them secondhand later at a garage sale. Perhaps.

I would like to do more with the backstabber au. Anyway I think [insert your OC here] is a paparazzi or reporter of some kind. I had an idea forever ago right. For a reporter/paparazzi x Tenna fic. Where the reporter in question had a huge inflammatory interview with him that tanked his reputation for awhile and he got mad enough to do... Some bad things to them... You know. Your standard rape + recording + threatening to release the blackmail if they didn't take the interview down... Anyway. I wonder if I should combine that idea with the backstabber au. Idk it might be way too busy, but I kind of like it as an escalation-? Him cloyingly trying to pull this old friend back into his life, only for them to lash out and dump a bunch of dirt on him. So then HE has to get payback. The infinite backstabbing machine! Yay!

Highschool/College Tenna out here like I'm being punished for my sensitivity and whimsyyyyy after he just lied viciously to the school board about rumors that his friend is [insert depraved lie here] because he didn't want them going Away. Don't go. Hashtag go to the same school as me work with me work at my studio when I open it. Or else.

I do think in the backstabberverse or whatever the what-ifs of Tenna and [Insert] probably drive them both crazy. What if Tenna just trusted them in the first place when they said they'd stay in touch. What if Inse just forgave him for what Tenna did when he was a stupid insecure theater kid and gave working with him at the studio an honest chance. What if they both stopped wanting to be the big bug who makes all the rules in the relationship. Much to ponder.

Pretty sure they hatedddd each other at first. Tenna and reader. When they both auditioned for the lead in their school play. And they actively feuded for awhile before becoming besties. Which is why when Tenna screws them out of their scholarship they assume it's envy again ☝️ and not that he just wants to fuck them real bad. Which he would be unable to do. If they left for another dark world or whatever.
