I’m coming back, I swear.
It’s been...a time. I’ve been so tired with work and baby and family and holidays...
But I’m determined to carve out time for myself again. And I’m coming back to my blogs

I have about six or seven sets of these stretcher...
I will watch that video. I have a piece that I want to frame like this. I love the way it makes it float when it’s hung on a wall
I can tell you right now that you’ll need a staple gun that either doesn’t have at all, or has a retractable wire guide. The one I have, the wire guide is in a fixed place, so the staples don’t actually go all the way into the wood. A desk stapler won’t work at all.

Word. I’ll keep making my stuff, and giving Nintendo my money for every -single- new game that comes out. I’m sure I’ve bought Pokemon Red like 5 times, if you include the remakes and digital downloads
Yeah, I take Pokémon walks in the mornings, and that’s about as far as my Nintendo playings go these days. I don’t even know how to play the damn game, or what any of the stuff really does. I just collect the critters. lmao

I'ma do this
You should! It’s a lot of fun! I’ve spent the last two days dyeing up scraps and odds and ends because I don’t like doing anything other than full coverage on white.

Boo. I like my pokemon and zelda cross stitches
I’m reading up on the program right now, and checking with my network to see if we’ve got a special dispensation, or something. Because I really want to do this project.
The creator program only applies to YouTube, so there’s no worry about posting Nintendo stuff to Tumblr or whatever. I don’t want to alarm anybody in that regard. Though, I would be careful about making patterns and offering them for sale. Nintendo doesn’t much care for that either.

as far as I’ve seen, Nintendo generally doesn’t mind fanart
Oh, they really do. I’ve got a couple of videos up right now that I should register with them, actually. They’re known for nuking channels out of orbit for using their IPs in videos.
I’m halfway tempted to join their creator program, just so I can do this project. I’ve been told they take a considerable chunk of your revenue though.
Will there be "Make your own" floss packs?
Unfortunately, no. Sorry. At least, not at this time, because it would just take me back to the same problem. As it is, I’m not able to fill orders without something being sold out, because of the way the inventory system works right now.
Packs are being redesigned from the ground up, and will start to show up back on the shop this weekend. They will now come in packs of 10, instead of seven, though I’ve not settled on a price point yet. They’re also going to come in two varieties: similar colours, and by number. The numbered packs will take more time, since I’m out of so much floss right now. But my goal is for everything to be back up by the end of the year.
