Some fuckin’ Thanos wannabe has these five magic amulets of ultimate power or something and is laying waste to the universe, and his rebellious daughter wants to use them for good, so upon hearing the Backstreet Boys’ music (which had been broadcast out into space) she decides that their positivity and optimism made them the perfect vessels to wield the amulets against notThanos
