Pretty sure someone’s done this combo before, but I’m trying to put my own spin on it and stuff to keep it og.
Backtale(? Idk, I’m workshopping it. Feel free to give name suggestions.) But anyway, it’s the Backrooms x Undertale
I was listening to some Backrooms ambience last night and then randomly thought of making an AU about Frisk no-clipping into the Backrooms. I also came up with a theory that the Void could be connected to the Backrooms and that Gaster would be there.
Basically, after a Reset, there was a glitch when Frisk would fall into the Underground, and instead of falling into the mountain, they no-clip into the Backrooms and have to try to survive because their save files were corrupted and they couldn’t Reset. Gaster kind of guides them, but rarely shows his face (usually just uses his floating hands lol)
Sans, of course, notices that Frisk hasn’t fallen into the Underground and grows suspicious. On his side of reality, he tries finding out what happened and how to bring them back because weird things started happening due to the story being unable to continue, like the day just kept repeating over and over because it had never naturally gone further than the day Frisk fell into the Underground, causing a major glitch.
I feel like Frisk’s overexposure to the Backrooms would actually cause their appearance to change a little. A couple details I thought of were their eyes turning completely black, their hair having more of an always moving effect or something (idk, like their hair is moving like it’s constantly underwater or swishy or smth), and I think Gaster’s presence would even rub off on them, giving them his face and hand scars over time.

I forgot to mention the height scales, so for you to know it: Flowey is 1ft tall, and Frisk and Chara are 4,1ft ( for Chara, it's a bit of tricked since they're floating and don't even have full legs anymore '<')

Soultale~
Interact with ANY character(s)! (Meaning when I use this, it can be Sans, Frisk, Papyrus, Asriel, Gaster, Grillby, any of the Souls, etc etc. Every character, even… Jerry if you really want…. Just as a point that any character can be asked), as well as all variations (Soul Eater route, Timeline Protector route, Normal route, Neutral route (the monsters stay Underground and Sans becomes King), Happy ending, SoulFell, SoulFlower(fell), and SoulSwap)
Majority of the lore and character info for the normal and Soul Eater routes here.
In the Happy Ending route, Frisk and the other souls are able to have physical forms, though still connected to Sans in a way to keep him alive.

Noonetale~
Interact with ANY character(s), with Soulless Frisk (Pacifist and Genocide) and Half-Soul Frisk routes.
An AU with a soulless Frisk and blind (but not depressed) Sans. Literally the only AU I’ve created where Sans is actually happy and positive. He actually doesn’t know Frisk is a human at first. He later gives half of his soul to her, as she helps guide him around when Papyrus isn’t there, even though she didn’t do it out of “kindness.”
Arcanetale~
Interact with ANY character(s). Pacifist or Genocide routes.
A Surface in ruins and under a violent dystopian society, whereas the Underground is flourishing, with advanced technology and magic. Frisk experiences luxuries unknown to her as she hopes to bring magic back to the Surface.

Slaytale~ (Slay the Princess x Undertale)
Interact with Sans (and any of the voices or his Long Quiet form) and Princess Frisk (and any of her forms, including Shifting Mound).
Basically just STP but with Frisk and Sans. I mostly included this because I wanna draw the different designs for them. Idk. (Also, I made this AU before I started a Tumblr account, so I didn’t know about @/neverniko101’s AU. This is its own thing)
Essentially just ask as if it was a regular STP ask blog idk.
DeathSwap~ (sort of a Reapertale AU)
Interact with ANY character.
Heavily inspired by Reapertale, but Sans represents Life and Frisk is Death. Mostly just an AU for character designs, but feel free to ask anything about the story and I’ll do my best with it.
Backtale~ (Backrooms x Undertale)

An AU where a Reset went wrong, and Frisk is trapped in the Backrooms, and Sans has to find a way to get them back because the day keeps repeating.

Interact with V! Sans and Vrisk. Might even plop Cross in there occasionally. Includes Normal and Recovery ending.
It is assumed that time travelers can go back in time and space. If there was a certain time and space in the past without their existence, then when they return to a certain time and space in the past that did not exist, they will exist in that time and space. In this case, there will be a contradiction between the existence and non-existence of time travelers in a certain time and space α in the past.
