Started thinking about DeathSwap again, specifically the roles of Life and Death, as there are three parts to each of them.
I also want to edit a couple of their designs (except for Papyrus’s. He’s perfect) and have to draw Gaster, Toriel, and Chara.
Life
Gaster (Genesis) is the overall god of Life, however, he has Sans (Shepherd) and Papyrus (Warden) to take care of the life in their AU. (Also, I struggled so much coming up with names for Sans and Papyrus, so if y’all have better ones, PLEASE let me know.)
Sans, the elder brother, deals with the affairs of living beings (humans, monsters, animals, etc.). He believes life to be a beautiful thing, but he also knows everything has its time. He and Frisk have an understanding relationship when it concerns the balance of Life and Death
Papyrus, the younger brother, deals more with nature and wildlife, plants specifically. He is slightly more immature, and has occasionally let plant life flourish too much, but Chara keeps him in check most of the time
Death
Toriel (Persephone) is the goddess of Death, and she lets Frisk (Mercy) and Chara (Blight) keep the balance in their AU with Sans and Papyrus
Frisk, the younger sibling, carefully and compassionately deals with the deaths of living beings. Frisk is never angry if Sans saves a life before they can take it, and is often grateful to give second chances
Chara, the elder sibling, is less compassionate towards humanity, so they are in charge of the death of nature and wildlife, occasionally causing a famines, plant diseases, etc. They also occasionally go a little too far with these things, and they have a more strained relationship with Papyrus due to both of their slightly immature natures
