A simply walk || Open Para
Jessica hated being locked inside of her room more than anything. She never understood how all of the other students were completely content with wasting time away doing nothing. Each day, the brunette's longing to get out of the bare inclosure grew deeper and deeper. Unfortunately, she couldn't quite escape in the way she dreamed of due to her annoying mother's continuous search for her missing daughter. Jessica was stuck with going to school each day, and dealing with her constant craving for an adventure outside of the campus. In Jessica's dream world, she'd be back in the woods. Although the place scared her immensely, the girl felt free there. It was as if she could do whatever and be whoever she wanted without the Red Queen's approval.
After staring at a blank wall for twenty minutes, unknowingly procrastinating on her homework, Jessica closed the open notebook on her lap and leapt from her bed. She couldn't take it anymore. What could she do other than run away again? Jessica thought long and hard, looking out the window at her fellow classmates, and saw a little pathway for people to walk on. That'll do. The brunette quickly grabbed her sweatshirt and hurried out of the building to rush over to the path. She smiled at the scent of the fresh air, and stolled over to the path. It wasn't exactly what she dreamed of, but it was still a sense of freedom and a nice place to go outside of the dull school.
Jessica had been walking for so long that she had failed to notice it had been getting dark. In fact, when the girl finally took a break from the rushing thoughs, she glanced up to see the sun finally setting behind the trees. She felt her heart begin to beat a little bit faster, and her stomach tied in a little knot. Jessica was a scaredy cat, and she hated being alone in the dark. She simply put her hoddie over her head, and turned around to go back to her dorm. She refused to look up from the ground as she walked, feeling frightened. Suddenly, Jessica heard a twig snap and hushed footsteps. She gasped softly in fear, and hesitantly looked around. "Hello?" The brunette regrettfully called out in a scared tone, glancing behind her.
