Thinking about making a sequel to Bakcyard Brawl on AO3 and it would be about Adaman continuously thinking about the fight between Ash and Ingo and just how good both of them fought but focusing more on Ash. Getting an absolute carnivorous craving to face Ash off, not through battle but through fists. Though he doesn’t get his chance until later down the Hisui Arceus game line. Like between Arcanine and Electrode. Maybe even before Ash and Goh face off Electrode he gets to Melli’s camp and cajoles them into waiting one more night until they face the Noble off.

Adaman is desperate to see what Ash truly is like. Wanting to see if he could get a few hits against the fallen or if Ash would wipe the ground with Adaman’s cheek. Like this man is just craving to get his butt beat. All the while ignoring the sneer of Melli calling him their version of a mentally screwed floozy. Asking if Adaman has no shame, as he’s the Diamond clans chosen leader and if he fails it’ll reflect poorly on him and the clan. Ignoring the fact that Ingo was apart of the Pearl clan when Ash started the fight.

Maybe Ingo was there and his renewed memories make him a little bit snippy with Melli. Which causes the dude to switch his focus to Ingo instead. Though Adaman wouldn’t care, let the two bicker if it means Melli doesn’t pay attention to him basically falling on his knees. Begging Ash desperately for a brawl and to feel the excitement and heady feeling of blood loss.

All the while Goh is in the back of the group. Watching Ash and Ingo with horrified disgust with a hearty dash of curiosity. A part of him wants to know if Ash could win, so sue him. All the while Pikachu is just completely done. Throwing his little paws in the air and stopping off to go do some training or to sleep under a tree.

I wanna write a small prequel of Backyard Brawl where when Ingo gets his memory back he just starts spewing the nastiest and meanest curses in English because he’s suddenly regaining all his memory but loosing his memory of Hisui, kinda like a flip flop of the situation, and Goh just looks astonished but Ash just starts cackling with laughter and ends up falling on top of Ingo due to his own aching body and lack of air from laughing because the last time he ever heard Ingo cuss like that it was accidentally over the intercoms when TR stole a train with a bunch of Pokémon and Pikachu.

He has no clue wtf is going on and who all these people are and Goh finds it very worrying but Asb just finds it fucking hilarious and can’t stop laughing and rolling on the ground. Quite the contrast a couple minutes ago when he was dodging all of Warden Ingo’s punches. Goh has to awkwardly explain to everyone, after a few minutes of trying to figure out what happened, that Ingo has no clue where he is nore his past in Hisui which brings great angst to the table
