Where did all the birds go!!! by Debbie Meader Via Flickr: I was watering our potted flowers on our back deck, when I heard a loud flapping of feathers. I looked into our backyard and all of our backyard birds were diving for cover in our Rosy Glow bushes, and a Immature Cooper's Hawk landed on one of our fence posts. He was intently searching the yard for movement, but all of his prey had taken cover and they were very quiet. Photo taken in our backyard in Camas, Washington.
