Yesterday I had a great day with a great guy!

I was in NYC for work and stayed with my boy El Don.  He told me about a restaurant called BarBacon which features...bacon.  Since one of my nicknames is "Bacon Boy", I knew I had to go there for dinner.  We started with te beer and bacon flight.  The bacon is 4 sets of two strips of artisanal bacon.  I only remember that the first one (from left to right) was a jalapeno bacon and the second was a pecan wood smoked bacon.  All of them were delicious!

For my flight, I went with Captain Lawrence Brown Bird Ale, Sixpoint Sweet Action, Empire IPA, and Flying Dog Dogtoberfest.  All of them were good except for the Empire.  The Empire IPA was meh to me.  There was an odd chalky-citrus flavor.

Regardless, if you love bacon at all times of day, then BarBacon is for you!
