hey snooze sorry to be this guy but since its been kinda quiet around here i was wondering if you will continue burn away ? really excited for ur briar centric comic but itd be sad to see this one unfinished cus i love it (u dont have to answer if u dont want to)✌️

i have no plans to cancel Burn Away, and in fact i've been doing a little bit of work on the next page here and there! I love the characters and story a lot and still get fired up about making it. :} this year has just been progressively more difficult wrt life things & my mental health so I can say that page progress will be slow for the time being - but yes, atm i'm going to continue!!

snoopze did u ever cheat in ur burn away playthrough? like for example u just got a new team member but they get knocked out right away & not counting that as a legit death

nope! i was really strict at keeping to the nuz rules in my burn away playthrough actually! though i was definitely tempted to cheat a few times just because of how upset i was at some deaths hahaha (rho being a primary example).

surprisingly im not really bothered by “new teammate dies right away” (this actually happened with my skiddo, greta, in the burn away run haha)! my worst temptations were for deaths of long-term teammates :’)

Honestly didn't see that coming, rly wondering how things will go now... Also did u come up with story/plot while playing the game or did it come to u after uve finished it?

as for the story - pretty much 90% of the plot and story as it is today was created after gameplay was completed! in my game notes i have asides here and there about “oh maybe this part could be like this in a comic” but most of those ideas were dropped/ignored in the end.
