Ingredients: 12 slices of bacon. 2 tablespoons of brown sugar. 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top of it. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cayenne pepper if using. Take a slice of bacon and gently twist it into a spiral shape. Repeat with the remaining bacon slices. Dip each twisted bacon slice into the brown sugar mixture, coating it evenly on both sides. Place the coated bacon twists on the wire rack on the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and caramelized. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious twisted bacon!
