This is a flavorful and filling burger made with ground beef, pork sausage, cheese, and savory seasonings, wrapped in smoked bacon.
Ingredients: 2 lbs ground beef. 1 lb ground pork sausage. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup diced onions. 1/2 cup diced pickles. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup mustard. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 lb bacon strips.
Instructions: Ground beef, ground pork sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onions, diced pickles, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt, and onion and garlic powder should all be combined in a big mixing bowl. Blend the ingredients until they are well combined. Form the meat mixture into a rectangle shape on a flat surface using a sheet of plastic wrap. Place bacon strips on the plastic wrap, overlapping them just a little. Make sure the bacon encircles the meat by placing the meat mixture on top of the bacon strips and rolling it into a log shape. Set the temperature of your smoker to 225F 107C. After the meat log has been wrapped in bacon, place it on the smoker grates and smoke it for two to three hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 160F 71C. Before slicing, take the smoked bacon cheeseburger fat out of the smoker and allow it to rest for ten minutes. Cut into rounds and serve however you like.
