Crispy bacon and soft potato, seasoned with a hint of savory Parmesan cheese and spices, come together perfectly in these Bacon Wrapped Potato Wedges. They're a great starter for any kind of gathering!
Ingredients: 4 large russet potatoes. 8 slices of bacon. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh parsley for garnish optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 400F 200C. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into wedges, leaving the skin on. In a large bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Wrap each potato wedge with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick. Roll the bacon-wrapped wedges in the cheese and spice mixture, ensuring they are well coated. Place the bacon-wrapped potato wedges on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack. Make sure they are evenly spaced. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the potatoes are tender, flipping them halfway through to ensure even cooking. Once cooked, remove the toothpicks and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot as a delicious appetizer or snack.
