When you have to be "positive" about everything refusing to acknowledge or respond to the not-so positive actions, events, and other sundries, you have created an environment for decay. Put another way, when you spend all of your time on the show window, necessary maintenance and modernization get ignored leaving you with an out-of-date facade attempting to covering up a decayed structure that crumbles with one slight gust of wind.
