If ever a man pulled himself up by his bootstraps and rose above his birth it would be Peter Grant. Like the few pages on him in my magazine on Bad Company have me duly impressed. Bastard half-Jewish and bullied as a kid and took to supporting his mom around the age of ten starting out as a sheet metal worker. His mom who had diabetes.
