Good Omens Fanfic Recommendation

For those of you looking for a COMPLETED book-length GO fic sequel (albeit a sequel based off the book, so possibly a little different than what you envision), here’s my all-time favorite for your consideration:

Bad Grace, by Quantum_Witch

In which there is a stolen book of prophecies, a plot to bring about the Second Coming of Christ and thus truly end the world, an Antichrist heading into puberty, a demon and angel facing complicated emotional entanglement, and Horsepersons and Sins and Disciples, oh my!

This fic has so much goodness to offer.  Christ Child!  Seven Deadly Sins!  Disciples!  Ineffable Husbands being adorable, pining idiots!  Really solid world-building based on Biblical mythology!  Humor!  Angst!  Romance!

It’s rated T with no explicit sex, but the author has separately published a romance scene if that’s something you’d like.  ;)

(Also, the scene in chapter 29 is forever seared into my memory as one of the most beautiful, romantic scenes I’ve read in a fanfic or a book.  Full stop.)

Bad Grace from author N.P. Martin is the first book in The Watcher Chronicles. It features Frank Swanson, whom we met in Hell is Coming. At the beginning of this book we join Frank, who is sitting in a chair contemplating killing himself.  He has the gun to his head and is going to pull the trigger but his phone won’t      stop ringing. So, frustrated, he gets up and answers it. It turns out to be a demon that needs some help with another demon, but Frank doesn’t find out that the guy is a demon until he goes to a strip club to meet him. If you had read the Hell is Coming book at this point in the book this story should sound familiar. Frank does end up helping this demon because there is another group of demons killing a large around of people and demons in the area. I really enjoyed being able to see the world from an experienced watchers point of view. This author has only written three paranormal books so far, but it seems he has been able to write these books effortlessly. I would suggest this book to anyone that enjoys paranormal themed books. -C
