I Will Never be the Same.
It had been a month since Blaine and Rachel had found out that they weren't going to be parents. That was four weeks of Blaine and Rachel preparing themselves for a baby. Rachel had read every single book she could think of on babies and she would frequently ask Blaine questions randomly throughout the days to make sure he was reading, which he luckily was. Every question that he got right, they made love that night. Unfortunately, Rachel still wasn't pregnant. It was probably because of the stress she was under from final exams and things.
But after today, everything would change. Her and Blaine had been planning their romantic get away since the moment they found out she wasn't actually pregnant. They'd spend a romantic night in Atlantic City, then come home and spend all their time working on making a baby. Rachel, who just happened to be valedictorian of her NYADA class walked down the aisle of the room, grinning and waving at Blaine as she made her way onto the stage. It was tradition for the top of the class to sing a song, and Rachel was the absolute top.
She looked at the crowd in front of her and began singing her song, the pianist following her cue.
"I can't win, I can't reign. I will never win this game without you, without you. I am lost, I am vein. I will never be the same without you... Without you. I won't run. I won't fly. I will never make it by without you. Without you. I can't rest I can't fight. All I need is you and I without you. Without you."
Tears were slowly making their way out of her eyes. This was her singing cry, but it was also mixed with her crying over a guy. She had sang this song before for Blaine, but it meant more considering what they had been through over the past six months. She made her way off the stage, the microphone still in her hand. She walked over to Blaise, grinning. It was like they were the only two people in the room.
"I can't erase, so I'll take blame. But I can't accept that we're estranged without you, without you. I can't quit now. This can't be right. I can't take one more sleepless night without you, without you. I won't soar, I won't climb. If you're not here I'm paralyzed without you, without you. I can't look, I'm so blind. I lost my heart, I lost my mind without you, without you."
Rachel put her hand on Blaine's cheek before kissing him during the music break and making her way back onstage. She looked out at the crowd that was both amazed by the girls voice and sharing their affection with their loved ones. Rachel always had the effect on people to make them feel things that she was feeling while she sang.
"I am lost, I am vein. I will never be the same without you, without you. Without you."
Soon after she sang her song and returned to her seat, the dean made his way on stage and handed everyone their diploma's, shaking each of their hands and smiling. Rachel led everyone in the turning of the tassels and the cap throwing before retrieving her hat and looking for Blaine. On her way to him she got congratulated by tons of people, including Cassie- Who hugged her and told her why she pushed her so hard and that she was proud to call Rachel her student.
When Rachel found Blaine she smiled at him, waiting for him to make his way over to her. This was the man she loved. "I hope you know I sang that just for you."
