Picked the Gauntlet back up after a decently long break and immediately got the first thing on the list after an 8 chain (23 broken chains and 3 completed 100-encounter chains prior, 738 total encounters)—close to evolution level too! Onto Poochyena, then Shroomish so I can get a good false swipe mon, and then I’ll probably just be picking random targets until I’ve got everything in the area

And now, with all the buildup, here’s the first official Gauntlet shiny, just a day after ORAS’s 10th anniversary: Shiny Torchic after 2216 SRs. This file was originally going to be a DTQ before I got this stupid idea instead, but I am probably going to keep the team layout the same: Blaziken, Manectric, Flygon, Absol, Zangoose, Walrein. And they’re all going to end up with Project Moon names, if this is any indicator.

Now it’s time to speedrun to Petalburg woods, grab the EXP Share, snag some (relatively) high-levelled Zigzagoons for pickup via dexnav, and then get started on the hunts, probably for Zigzagoon itself first
