I didn’t -- I’ve never changed my name or face, because I would get confused (and probably other people, too).

Aww did they put in a drain?

Nah. A lot of the bloating/swelling is probably gas tbh. They have to fill the area up with CO2 so they can visualize what they’re doing better. The rest of it is just everything being traumatized (understandable because they did four laparoscopic ports, and I also have bruises around the port sites) and my abdominal muscles losing all their tone for the time being (which the surgeon told me would happen). 

It’s just really, really weird. :)
