Badlands Tour w/ Camp Badlands Experience
So general admission for the Badlands Tour was $30, which is pretty reasonable. Camp Badlands was an additional $40, kind of weird to be more than the actual ticket, but still exciting stuff.
So here’s what you get with the Camp Badlands VIP:
A wristband (it even sparkles)
A custom Badlands passport
Early admission
A chance to take pictures w/ a Badlands backdrop
Viewing of the Halsey movie posters (may have seen online)
A chance to sign a giant sign thingy?

So yeah, Camp Badlands was definitely cool within itself but I kept waiting for Halsey to pop out and say hi to us just for a couple of seconds. I heard one girl say she got to meet her, though I don’t know how and I’m not sure if that’s accurate. Is the Camp Badlands worth the $40 extra? I’d say it’s great for $30, not sure about $40, but still pretty cool!
The concert itself was pretty great, except there was a lot of waiting. The opening act is a band called Laney (or something like that I can’t remember, it had a y at the end) and they had a The 1975 vibe about them. Pretty chill, fit nicely as openers. Then HALSEY FUCKING KICKS ASS DAMN OPENING RIGHT UP WITH GASOLINE it was great. She plays all of Badlands except for Walk The Line, and in addition played Is There Somewhere. Her closing song is New Americana and she has Young God as her encore.
Anyway it fucking smashed. The venue was a lil stuffy but I don’t know if that’ll be an issue in other places. I love Halsey goodnight
