Millie & Charlie Rose were high school sweethearts, who everyone had thought they would be together forever. They had few ups and downs, like any other couples had so Millie never thought about it and continued to ignore the signs and the fights that they had. Things started to get better for the couple; they moved to Chicago from Minneapolis, Minnesota and settled down. After a few years, they had Milo and things were going great. Charlie opened up a record store downtown Chicago, Millie worked as a school lady and taught Milo how to bake along with Charlie teaching him the ultimate greatest musician while he used to hang around his father whenever he played his old records and fell in with the Beatles mixed in with rock, and all kinds of music. Well, except for classical.

It wasn’t until Milo was in elementary school when Charlie filed divorce from Millie, knowing that he didn’t love her anymore. He simply fell out of love with her. Something that Milo still can’t wrap his head around. How can you fall out of love with someone? He doesn’t remember much about those months except his father telling him that he wanted a relationship and wanted to be in his life.  

Though, Millie made sure to keep things normal as she could and knew that her kids would get teased about coming from a broken home. Soon after the divorce was settled, money began getting tighter every time Millie turned around and she started to get the kids clothes from Ross, Goodwill and changing the labels to save a bit more money. Milo never understand why she was doing that, but when he gotten older he started to understand why his mother did that. When he was in middle school, Milo started to watch more and more movies and drift apart from the rest of the family. It was something he needed to do on his own.  

Once he was old enough to work, Milo gotten a job at his father’s record store and started to work there when he reached high school.  Despite wearing clothe from Goodwill,  He joined the school newspaper, something about writing articles helped him with things. He had a few close friends, wasn’t really popular but he gotten along with everybody. He stayed up having some nerdy marathons and movie marathons that included The Hunger Games, and many more.

One thing that Milo didn’t expect was in and out of jail.  He started to hang out with the wrong crowd, some of the helped him cope with what’s going on with in his life and coming to terms with his sexuality. It wasn’t like he was ashamed of being bisexual, in fact, he took pride of being bisexual.  He would often sneak through his window, just to go to one of the latest high school parties and chilled with a few people like him. However, getting arrested wasn’t one of his things that he was pride of but he figured it fit his image. Once he graduated high school, Milo packed his bags and headed to Lima University where he gotten scholarships and enough money to get by until he got a job at the local record store where he does jobs underneath the table. Along with ranking up a record.
