probably making flower crowns with Yuna. It was fun because they were both terrible at it but they had such a good time and laughed so much, it was really refreshing. They became friends afterwards!

As much as ruining people’s day by hitting them with waterballoons was, Mulder couldn’t help but feel kinda bad about it. Maybe becausehe knew what it was like to be dressed nice and have that ruined, or maybe itwas because he couldn’t help but feel like it was sort of Marshall’s way of belittlinghumans. Or maybe it was just because Mulder wasn’t thirteen anymore.

“Let’s do something else.” Mulder said, stepping back fromthe roof’s edge and sitting down near the center. It wasn’t that he was afraid offalling, it’s just that now he wasn’t sure Marshall would catch him if he did.

Though the vampire reluctantly plopped next to him and evengave him a sarcastic grin, Mulder couldn’t help but feel like something waswrong. Maybe Marshall didn’t think of him as anything other than a lame humanwho was too lame to do anything fun. Well, he knew one activity that didn’tbother innocent people.

Marshall’s skin was sort of cold like Mulder imagined. Hegently cupped Marshall’s face in his hands and leaned in. He told himself thatit didn’t have to mean anything; for Marshall, it could just be something fun…forMulder, well, at least it was like the ultimate research on vampires.

What was it like to kiss a vampire? Well, he was a littleconcerned that the fangs might get in the way, but they didn’t. The forkedtongue however, that was very interesting.Some people might be put off at the thought that it was like kissing a lizard.Mulder didn’t care either way.

He was too flustered from the kiss itself to worry about whyMarshall was giggling when they finally separated.

“I’m glad I could do you a favor.” Mulder said, his facestill red. “You can cross kissing a human off your list.”
