“Ihihihi, neither am I looking for that! Don’t worry, man. This baby is safe for the two of us. I’m definitely not looking for death, so rest assured and enjoy the trip. BATTLER Airlines’ innaugural trip is about to depart!”
The sorcerer pulls some levers and presses some buttons that make the sound of a motor revving up audible to Mulder. At a count of 3, 2, 1, he fastens their belts, turns on ignition, waits for the motor to heat up AAAAAND….
…They depart in a pretty slow fashion. The saucer shouldn’t be going faster than 10km/h. Which’s awesome for Battler, since, thanks to his phobia of moving vehicles, any faster and he’d be shouting about he’d be about to fall from here. Just being here is already outside of his comfort zone.
“Thank you for flying at BATTLER Airlines. This is your captain, Battler, wishing you’ll enjoy the trip. Now, if you look to your right you should be able of spotting a nice cafe that I’d totally recommend to you. You might be afraid that we’re approaching it, but don’t worry, evasive measures are already being taken.”
He says that when they aren’t even 100 meters away from the building. Battler, not everyone is as scared of vehicle accidents as you.
He’s definitely taken bigger risks than this before at work. The vague recollection of jumping into a moving train that was carrying evidence was flashing in his mind. Scully had been so mad, and really, he couldn’t blame her. He remember in his teen years when his therapist said he had a death wish. He wasn’t so sure then, but he was glad now that Battler didn’t have one.
Mulder clutched at his seat belt and turned to glance out the window. He could see the cafe were he’d partaken in sweet coffee and even sweeter talk with one of the cities cutest residence. He was glad there was no way in hell they’d crash into it.
“Hey, not to be a back seat driver...but doesn’t this thing go any faster? I mean I feel like where in a UCO...Unidentified crawling object.”
