Morality, Memories and Judgement
Morality -
For a while, you couldn’t really say Illuso had morality. He either did what was in his best interest (survival, food or shelter, first-aid if needed…) or flat-out only did what he could to prove himself stronger than others. He didn’t care if what he was doing was awful or helpful, he only cared if it assisted him and his needs.
However, after being tamed by Risotto and was taught other ways of being strong, Illuso began to do whatever was in Risotto’s best interest rather than his own. And after starting his relationship with Ghiaccio, Illuso started to do whatever was in Ghiaccio’s best interest.
It wasn’t that big of a change, to be honest. But at least he calmed down.
Memories -
Gaps in his memories aside, Illuso does treasure more moments than he’d like to let on. He used to treasure his trips to carnivals, and he remembers random stunts during his wild time - some of his greatest achievements he remembers, and he’ll talk about the hits he nearly died doing if asked. And of course he remembers his first few months with Risotto well.
He remembers finding Gelato’s body.
He remembers every second of his death.
And he remembers Clara very, very clearly.
Judgement -
If it was up for him, Diavolo would pay greatly for all the stress he gave and for every half-assed decision he made. If it was up to him, he’d pay back Fugo, Abbacchio and Giorno for every second of his agonizing death. If it was up to him, he’d make sure Ghiaccio could kill Mista without a problem.
But Illuso knows his place, and thus tries hard to forget he and Ghiaccio died.
